While I was working in Southern Africa, I found the answer: biltong. Air-dried beef with real texture, clean ingredients, and real tradition behind it. No sugar. No preservatives. Just lean meat with spice and bite — everything you need, nothing you don’t.
Returning back to the U.S., there wasn't anything close. Jerky was rubbery, and full of artificial junk, not to mention the miscellanous meat sticks. So we built Bully’s Biltong — for people like us. People who train hard, go hard, and want the real thing.

👊 Meet the Founders: Connor & Willem
Bully’s Biltong was built by two guys from different sides of the world who shared the same mindset — train hard, stay sharp, build something that lasts.
Connor grew up in the U.S. — a competitive swimmer turned triathlete, with a career that started in Big 4 consulting. He later launched an import-export business across Africa and Asia, eventually landing in Namibia to expand operations. That’s where he was introduced to real biltong — not the sugar-loaded jerky found in gas stations, but authentic, air-dried beef made the way it’s been done for generations.
That’s also where he met Willem De Waal — a Namibian-born Afrikaaner and former competitive bodybuilder who knows biltong like the back of his hand. For Willem, biltong isn’t a product — it’s part of his heritage. He grew up around it. Ate it daily. Perfected it over time.
Upon meeting, they quickly realized they shared the same drive, discipline, and appetite for building something different. No shortcuts. No compromise. Just quality and consistency — in life, in training, and in the snacks they eat.
Together, they launched Bully’s Biltong with one mission:
Bring real, heritage biltong to the U.S. — made clean, made strong, made for people who move.
